from Charlotte on Saturday:
Matthews Butler 48
Charlotte Vance 6
The Butler Bulldogs are the only unbeaten powerhouse left down around Charlotte, as Mallard Creek has lost, Independence has lost and now Vance has been beaten….The true 4-AA left standing is Matthews Butler….Riley Ferguson had 279 yards passing and hit for two TD passes in the Bulldogs’ win over Vance on Saturday and Bulldogs’ RB Josh Glisson ran for two touchdowns and over 100 yards(122), as the ‘Dogs pounded Coach Keith Wilkes’ Cougar club….Wilkes is the former WS Carver Yellow Jacket coach and his top Cougar, Larenz Bryant, did not have a very big game on Saturday….The stars were the Dog’s Ferguson, Glisson, Uriah Lemay(WR), Peter Kalambayi(LB) and the younger Benjamin Lemay(RB),……Christian Lemay, Uriah Lemay and now Benjamin Lemay….Plenty of Lemay’s to make the plays for Butler over the past 5 years…..
Butler is now the team to beat without a doubt, on the 4-A level and you can read more all about this when you CLICK HERE…..from the Charlotte Observer….
Nobody wants a piece of Butler this year in 4A.
Nor does anyone want any of Havelock in 3A.
Two of the more dominants teams you will see in a long time!

East Forsyth wants a piece of Butler!!!
Scotland County was the best team in the State last year.
East Forsyth is going to get a piece of High Point Central first…..HPC has two outstanding defensive players in Rubin Crosby and Germaine Pratt….HP Central also has one of the top kickers in the area in Will Johnson….QB Justin Johnson is no slouch either for HPC…..
Gonna be tougher than some think with EF-HPC….
What? East is going to crush HPC…..Wait and see!
East Forsyth – 35
HPC – 7
