On a night when the WWE was honoring Bret Hart in Montreal, Canada and at the same time they were celebrating ‘Pat Patterson Appreciation Night’ in the province, all goes crazy on Monday Night Raw and Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler has an heart attack, for real….There is always the question mark, since so much of professional wrestling is staged/worked, but this one was for real and Lawler was in real bad shape last night in Montreal…When he was taken from the Belle Center on a stretcher, he was breathing on his own, but they did perform CPR and Lawler under went surgery this morning and the word we are getting is that they inserted a stent and a ballon to get the vavles of his heart open and moving again…..

“As of this morning, Jerry “The King” Lawler is in a cardiac care unit and all his vital signs are stable. WWE will provide additional information as it becomes available. We continue to wish Jerry all the best for a full recovery.”
