Greensboro College Volleyball Concludes Road Trip with 3-0 Loss to Colorado College

For the second time in as many nights, the #17 nationally ranked Colorado College volleyball team defeated The Pride 3-0 (25-14, 25-11, 25-15). Greensboro dropped both matches in its trip to Colorado Springs, CO this weekend.

The Pride were unable to muster any momentum from the beginning in this one, dropping the first set 25-14. The Tigers wrapped up the day with set wins of 25-11 and 25-15.

Megan Smith tallied a team high five kills. Cortland Phillips contributed 16 assists and Danielle Simpson picked up 15 digs. Liz Widenhouse and Morgan Hooks each recorded a block assist.

With the loss, Greensboro falls to 8-4 on the season. The Pride will look to rebound on Wednesday at Meredith. The match will begin at 7 p.m.
