Jim Modlin, our sports associate here at the web site and on the radio and also a good friend to many who come by and read here at GreensboroSports.com, Jim had a massive heart attack last night and he is in critical condition at Moses Cone Hospital….
Jim has had a couple serious hospital stays over the past two-three years, but he always bounced back and this is a serious blow for him today….
We have been up and down the road and made many a stop with Jim over the years, doing the high school ball games and this time around, Jim will need your prayers more than ever….
Jim has been like a big brother to many of us and he has deep ties to Ragsdale High School and to East Carolina University, where he played basketball and one was of the top players for the Tigers and for the Pirates…..
Jim Modlin in very critical condition this morning at Moses Cone Hospital and let’s hope Jim can pull through again…It is going to take a ‘Miracle’, but please keep Jim in your thoughts and prayers…..

Thoughts and prayers are going out for Jim. He is a good man who loves his sports. Saw him in the press box at Ragsdale for the opening game of the season. Also, we seem to cross paths a lot at the Harris Teeter in Adams Farm.

Was by the hodpital this afternoon and it does/t look good…..Jim needs to make a major comeback and we need to keep on lifting him up….It is a heavy load, what he is carrying right now…..Kind of takes you back to final days in the move ‘Bran’s Song’….James Caan and Jim Modlin and this is not a movie, it is the real thing and it does’t look good, so be in prayer and asking for a ‘Miracle’…..
Yes Andy, but don’t forget that our God is still in the miracle performing business. if he can turn water to wine and bring back men from the dead and cause the blind to see, the deaf to hear, then surely He can heal Jim of this. And I have been and will be in prayer for Jim.
