Donald Williams(Garner HS/UNC) named new boys basketball coach at Northwood High School

There is a new head boys basketball coach at Northwood High School, in Pittsboro….Northwood is the high school that produced 2012 Greensboro Grasshopper Austin Brice and Pittsboro is becoming a hotbed for high school and amateur talent….A few years ago Wake Forest had Robert Siler, from Siler City and then Todd Saunders from Chatham Central and then the kid from Northwood….Now Northwood has the kid that used to light up the nets for the Garner Trojans and then he went over to Chapel Hill and led the North Carolina Tar Heels to the NCAA National Championship….This appears to be a ‘Pit Stop’ for Williams and don’t be surprised to see this young man coaching on the college level in the next 5-7 years…..Williams can show the kids how to bring it in from long distance range and this man is for real…..
