Tyrek Able from Smith High School with the stat line of the night

For Tyrek Able from the Ben L. Smith Golden Eagles we have what could be the stat line of the night for the state of North Carolina…..Smith lost to the Southeast Guilford Falcons, but you have to give the Smith game ball to Tyrek Able and here’s what he did tonight….

Tyrek Able had 4 receptions for 168 yards and three TD’s on offense and on defense #21 had 1 forced fumble, 1 fumble recovery and 18 tackles…..Able also had a 65 yard kickoff return…..

Those are some impressive numbers and does anyone have any others for us???

Great job by Tyrek and he was Able to put his Eagles on his back and he carried the team tonight at SEG….

  1. Not local, but the D. Scott kid for Havelock rushed for 205 yards on 14 carries and 4 touchdowns, he is just a junior….Very impressive. Havelock beat a good DH Conley team 41-14.

  2. I love to hear these type of stat lines for these kids and seeing them do well in the community. If these were basketball stats, we would be talking about where this kid or another may be headed to college. I rarely (if ever) hear much about where any of our local football players are being recruited for college. Does anyone locally have any idea where many of these kids are even projected where that is a D1 State/Wake/UNC, D2 WSSU/Livingstone or a D3 Guilford/Greensboro. It would be great if you could find some consistent reporting on this subject with football – Andy.
