The Series: Methodist leads 11-4

Last Season’s Meeting: In the final game of the season and the careers of 18 Greensboro College seniors, The Pride football team fell to Methodist at home, 31-14. Greensboro raced out to a 14-7 lead but saw the Monarchs score the final 24 points to close out the win. The Pride outgained the Monarchs on the day 326-291. Greensboro picked up 103 yards on the ground and 223 through the air. The Pride also held a 34:32-24:13 advantage in time of possession. Warren Scott Jr. led the rushing attack with 69 yards on 19 carries and one touchdown. Ryan Throndset, meanwhile, added 223 yards and a score on 26 of 42 passing. Dexter Russell Jr. and Scott each grabbed a game high eight receptions. Russell finished with 96 yards receiving while Scott added 56.
