It looks like after just one year as the Athletic Director and head men’s basketball coach, that John Patty is gone from GTCC and Kirk Chandler is in and he is the new man, that will man both the Athletic Director’s role and the job as the men’s head basketball coach for the Titans……from Brian Hall at www.digtriad.com:
JAMESTOWN, NC – As of September 10, Mr. Kirk Chandler has been appointed as Athletic Director and Men’s Head Basketball Coach for Guilford Technical Community College. Kirk comes to GTCC with a wealth of athletic administration and coaching experience. A Burlington, NC native, Chandler served stints as assistant basketball coach for UNCG, St. Andrews Presbyterian College and Barton College. Kirk also has prior teaching and coaching experience in the Alamance-Burlington School System.
