Northeast Guilford(5-1) at Southern Guilford(5-1)….SEG beat NEG and Southern topped SEG, so that gives us something to look at…NEG tough against the run….SG with two runners right at 1,000 yards…
Ragsdale(6-1) at Northwest Guilford(5-2)….Both teams have some injuries to work through and remember, NWG won on the last drive of the game last year at Ragsdale…It may time for Ragsdale to flip the favor in this series….Could come down to the wire again….Loser will have 2 losses in the conference and will be in bad shape…Expect a real tight one here and it could come right down to the wire…Both coaching staffs will be very busy in this one….
Grimsley(2-4) at East Forsyth(7-0)…Could be a real long night for Grimsley….HP Central is the only team to put up more than a TD on East this year and they totaled 10 points vs. East Forsyth….
Smith(0-6) at Page(2-4)….Page looks like they are starting to hit a stride….Striding for a good Metro ride…
Southern Alamance(2-5) at Western Guilford(3-4)…Western Guilford has found their bearings behind RB’s Tray Miller, Ramone Ramsey and Emmanuel Khamala, plus QB Reid Flippin….
McMichael(3-3) at Northern Guilford(6-0)….The McMichael head coach is a former Northern assistant, so he will know a lot about the Nighthawks, but not nearly enough, as #8 is way more than enough for NG and you never know what he might be doing…..
High Point Central(5-2) at WS Parkland(0-7)….HP Central has the best kicker in our area this season in Will Johnson, but he may not have to flip the field very often tonight, as the Bison behind Justin Johnson and the offense ought to be able to put up 42-49 points tonight and the Germaine Pratt and Rubin Crosby-led defense may decide to warm up the goose-egg this evening…..
Eastern Guilford(2-5) at Rockingham County(6-1)….EG may get a piece of THE ROCK, but there will be no peace and quiet in Wentworth tonight, once RC goes to work….May be some wailing and gnashing of teeth on the visitor’s side and a loud cheering on the home side…..
Glenn(2-4) at Southwest Guilford(1-6)….Could be a toss-up, but Glenn seems to have the advantage going in….
Trinity(0-7) at High Point Andrews(5-1)…What was it, HPA 71-0 last week, it may 72-0 this week, advantage Andrews…
Westminister Christian(2-4) at High Point Christian(3-3)….Three straight wins to start the year and now three straight losses for HPCA….Let’s hope they get it going again tonight with another big ‘W’…..This game will be the Homecoming Game for HPCA and it will be played on SATURDAY October 6, at Simeon Stadium….Homecoming for the Cougars……
