The new Associated Press high school football poll is available and they have the Northern Guilford Nighthawks at #1(3-A), the East Forsyth Eagles at #7(4-A), the North Davidson Black Knights at #9(4-A) and the Reidsville Rams at #10(2-A)….
New Bern and Richmond County are chasing 4-A #1 Matthews Butler and the Butler Bulldogs continue to win, even though their highly touted QB, Riley Ferguson, is still out of the lineup with a broken thumb…Conner Mitch, at Raleigh Wakefield, carries on as the current top quarterback in the state….Many fans are calling out Wilson Hunt to be a challenge to the Northern Guilford Nighthawks in the 3-AA East, but that potential meeting is still several weeks away…..
