College Women’s Soccer Final: Shenandoah 2, Guilford 0

GREENSBORO, N.C.—Shenandoah University’s Hannah Oakes and Stormie Malik both scored the Hornets’ two goals in a 2-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) soccer win over Guilford College.

Oakes flicked a one-timer into the goal off a Sarah Hensley free kick in the 15th minute to put the Hornets on the board. After a scoreless 54 minutes, Stormie Malik booted a deflection through a crowded six-yard box on a corner kick to give the Hornets a 2-0 lead.

The Hornets outshot the Quakers 21-7. Senior Miriam Davis-Rosenbaum made seven saves in net for the Quakers. Nichole Pratt made four saves in net for the Hornets.

The Quakers return to action Tuesday when Guilford travels to Washington and Lee University.
