GC Women’s Swimming Finishes ODAC Relays in 7th

The Greensboro College women’s swim team placed seventh at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Relays on Saturday afternoon. The Pride totaled 86 total points on the day while host Washington & Lee took home the nine team meet title with 454 points.

The 150 yard yard breastroke relay team of Dani Horne, Lauren Fisher and Erin Gard turned in a team best finish of sixth place with a time of 1:48.12.

The 400 yard freestyle relay squad of Horne, Gard, Taylor White and Regina Robertson followed with a sixth place time of 4:02.56.

Also turning in a top six finish on the day was the 200 yard medlay relay team of Horne, Fisher, Sierra Zentz and Robertson. The foursome clocked in at 2:06.25 to place sixth overall.

“The team had a great time attending the ODAC Relay meet for second year,” said head coach Scot Budde. “We got to see some of the new competition in the ODAC, and we are looking forward to beginning regular competition next week at Hollins.”

The meet featured ten total events – all relays. Greensboro will return to the pool on October 27 with a double dual meet against Gallaudet and host Hollins.
