We will be ready for another Football in Focus program this evening at the Shane’s Rib Shack on Westover Terrace, just up the street from Grimsley High School and will get rolling right around 6pm….
The playoffs are here and we will have Tre Purcell, Ryan Johnston and Austin Simmons with us from the Northern Guilford Nighthawks…Tre lines up at DE and receiver, Ryan goes at FB and DL and Austin checks in at OG and DL….These young men are three-year starters and we will talk with them about the upcoming playoffs tonight, when we get together at Shane’s Rib Shack on Westover Terrace….
A good group of Nighthawks and always good food at Shane’s, famous for their Ribs, Chicken, BBQ, BBQ Chicken, Chicken Salad, Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Burgers and tons of great vegetables with Corn on the Cob, Okra, Baked Beans, Slaw, Green Beans, Salad Greens, Tossed Salad, Mac and Cheese, Brunswick Stew and many more….Shane’s has excellent drinks and desserts too with sodas, iced tea and super water…..Cookies, Brownies, and Cobbler line the dessert bowls….The best food is at Shane’s Rib Shack on Westover Terrace….
Dennis White will be there with us from our high school football broadcast team and we will have a big ‘Playoff Preview’ on the night the playoffs begin and that is tonight, with High Point Andrews hosting Piedmont at Simeon Stadium, in High Point…
Our video leader Don Moore will be on hand running the show and we may see some other visitors passing through Shane’s and we will have our regular Thursday night manager Curtis in the house…..

Did you hear about Gabe Brockett from Thomasville High School. I know he not from Guilford County but last Friday night he had one of those game a high school football player dreams of . Here’s his stats 47 carries 433 yards and 5 TD’s its the 8 best single game preformance in North Carolina high School history, it also broke some school records. Thanks for all you do Andy. I really appreciate it and I know that there are a lot of us here in the Piedmont Triad that appreciate it also.
