Larry Ogunjobi(Ragsdale High School) is a big man and he has hit the big-time, with his feature article up front and center, at the Charlotte Observer on-line….Very good post on Larry and this ought to help carry Larry toward the top of his game…

At 6 feet, 3 inches tall and 253 pounds, Larry Ogunjobi is “just a big ol’ bundle of energy for us,” Charlotte coach Brad Lambert said. “He’s pretty much in the middle of everything we do on that defensive line.”

But that’s not how it has always been for Ogunjobi, especially when he first entered Jamestown’s Ragsdale High in 2008 as a 300-pound freshman who dabbled in wrestling but was more interested in video games than playing sports.

“They called me ‘Lazy Larry,’ ” Ogunjobi said. “I was always the third wheel.”
