High School Football Games tonight as we move into Round Two of the playoffs and as Rakwan Hayes told us last night, “Be Patient”

You can learn a lot if you listen and I was listening last night when Rakwan Hayes of High Point Andrews told us, “You have to be Patient”…..I was always one that got all hyped up and then what do you do after you have run through the banner and you are worked up to a fever pitch and you still have 48 minutes of football to play….You get out there on that kickoff team and run down the field like a ‘bonzi warrior’ and then how much do you have left in the tank? It is best to approach the game from a patient perspective as Rakwan was telling us and if you play smart and listen closely to your coach, you have a great shot to win tonight, but it can’t all be done on just one play….

Just a little insight from me and Mr. Hayes(instead of me and Mrs. Jones, old tune from the 70/s) and now we have to get ready for tonight’s playoff games…We will have our AM950 radio truck/car out at Northern Guilford tonight, where the Nighthawks face Chapel Hill High School…Pre-game for the 3-AA East Round Two matchup is 6:45pm and the kickoff will come from the 40 yard-line and possibly by Alex Hassler, at around 7:30-ish…We will have that game on AM950, plus inside the stadium tune into 97.7FM and that will be the very best way to pick us up…On the net you can follow the game and get all of the scores at www.wpetam950.com…..

We will also have all of the area scores and if you have one for us, just text it in to Dennis White at 442-6129….That’s 442-6129 and you can E-mail it to Don Moore at the GreensboroSports.com sports desk at dubbadon@gmail.com…Don will have the scores here on the site tonight….Scores from all over and especially the scores coming in from our other Guilford County-area games including:

Page(7-4) at East Forsyth(12-0)
Dudley(7-4) at North Davidson(12-0)
Southeast Guilford(7-4) at E.E. Smith(11-1)
Overhills(7-4) at Southern Guilford(10-1)
Chapel Hill(9-2) at Northern Guilford(11-0)
West Stokes(7-4) at High Point Andrews(10-1)

Also tonight around the state, some games that might be great on the slate and some of these scores might be coming in late, but here they are:

Charlotte Independence at Matthews Butler
Raleigh Wakefield at Garner
Wilson Hunt(11-0) at Cardinal Gibbons(11-0)
Crest at South Point
Randleman at Carrboro
St. Pauls at Reidsville
Lincolnton at Thomasville

The Picks on our Guilford County games:
Northern Guilford
East Forsyth
North Davidson
E.E. Smith
Southern Guilford
High Point Andrews

On Nothern Guilford, will T.J Logan steal the show again this week?(No doubters so far.)
On Page, can Pirate QB JP/Jordan Putnam find a way to pick apart the opponents(EF) with the pass, as he has done so many times in the past/recent weeks?
On Dudley, can the Panthers slow down the Tuttle Twins and can ND grab RH3?
On Southeast Guilford, will Will Greene’s foot be like a rabbit’s foot again this week?
On Southern Guilford, if Moseley and Gallaspy both run for more than 150 yards, I say the Storm has hit paydirt……
On High Point Andrews, the Red Raiders need to be terminators and as I said before, they can go far with Lamar steering the car and with Cartwright putting his feet on the gas pedals for them….
