Hairston(Dudley/Hargrave Military Academy) in the North Carolina Tar Heels first baasketball game of the season, back on Friday night against Gardner-Webb, but his numbers were going up on Sunday vs. Florida Atlantic has P.J. hit for 6 points and he grabbed 8 rebounds in 17 minutes of action…. He did go just 2-8 from the field, but he was 1-2 from three-point range and the overall numbers are leaning up and that’s a good thing……

What has happened to this kid at UNC ? He is basically shooting open jump shots night after night. He is not shooting off the dribble drive or heavy contested shots. Throughout high school he was nailing these same shots night after night. It seems he is having a confidence issue these days. I hope he finds that boost of confident that is needed before the heart of the season gets going. He did great during the summer leagues so we know that it is just a matter of time. I know a lot of local young kids that continue to follow his success.
