Men’s Basketball (3-1)
Elon at South Carolina, Wednesday, Nov. 21, at 7 p.m., Columbia, S.C.
Elon at VMI, Saturday, Nov. 24, at 5 p.m., Lexington, Va.

• Elon won the 2012 EA SPORTS Maui Invitational Regional Games last weekend, posting wins over Florida Atlantic and Colgate. Lucas Troutman was named the Tournament’s Most Outstanding Player.
• Elon went 3-0 last week at home and the Phoenix has won four straight in Alumni Gym dating back to last season.
• The Phoenix will meet the South Carolina Gamecocks in the series rubber-match this week in Columbia, S.C. Elon topped USC in Alumni Gym last season and the Gamecocks came away with a win over the Phoenix two seasons ago in Columbia.

Women’s Basketball (2-1)
Elon vs. American, Saturday, Nov. 24, at 2 p.m., Alumni Gym

• Elon picked two wins last week with victories over VCU and UNCW in Alumni Gym. The Phoenix overcame a 12-point first-half deficit against the Rams with a 14 minute 29-5 run, while battling back from six down with five minutes remaining against the Seahawks for a 67-61 final.
• Kelsey Evans posted double-doubles in both games with 13 points and a career-high 17 boards against VCU and 13 points and 10 rebounds against UNCW. The senior also posted a career-high four assists and tied her personal best of five steals in the VCU game.
• Shon Redmond tied an Elon game record with 10 steals against the Seahawks. The senior surpassed her previous best of eight to tie Liz Ward and Jayme Chikos in the record book.
