Dudley girls leave Durham Hillside behind:Panthers pull away to take win on the road, 58-46

Dudley exploded in the last two minutes of the second quarter, converting four straight steals — three in a row by Makala Rouse — to take a 24-17 lead at halftime.

Moriah Davis, who hit the first 3-pointer of the game in the second quarter for Dudley, hit four straight shots around a pair of free throws by Rouse to open the third quarter and boost the lead to 38-20. A free throw by Kennedy Currie gave Dudley its biggest lead of the night at 49-20 about halfway through the third.

Davis scored 15 points to lead all scorers.
