Former Carolina Panther Mike Minter to be the new head coach at Campbell

Mike Minter will replace Dale Steele as the new football coach at Campbell University….The have set a press conference for Tuesday, at which time, Minter will be intoduced as the Camels new head coach….This effects at least three Guilford County kids in Matt Farris(Northern GUilford), Dalton Dillon(Northwest Guilford) and Jabri Ridenhour(Western Guilford), as all three are current Campbell Camel football players….

Mike Minter(Carolina Panthers, Johnson C. Smith, Liberty University) spent 9 seasons in the pros with the Panthers out of Nebraska, he was an assistant at Johnson C. Smith after his pro days and he spent this past season, as the special teams coach at Liberty University, in Lynchburg, Virginia, working for another former Nebraska Cornhusker, Turner Gill….

Mike Minter will now be the new head coach of the Campbell Camels and this will be his first head coaching role on the college level and we will see how this effects our local kids at Campbell, in Farris, Dillon and Ridenhour……
