GREENSBORO, N.C. – Freshman Zeb Richardson (West Jefferson, N.C./Ashe County) paced four Quakers in double-figure scoring with a career- and game-high 15 points in Guilford College’s 65-55 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) basketball win over Randolph-Macon College Saturday.

Richardson netted nine points in the second half, which saw the Quakers erase a 29-27 halftime deficit. Guilford (4-1, 2-0 ODAC) shot better than 57 percent from the floor in the second half, compared to the Yellow Jackets’ 38 percent shooting.

Lamar Giggetts’ basket with 12:07 left in the game gave Randolph-Macon (2-4, 1-1 ODAC) its final lead, 42-41. The Quakers answered with a 17-7 run over the next nine minutes that decided the contest.

Richardson led a dominant performance by the Quakers’ frontcourt. Guilford outscored the Yellow Jackets, 42-16, in the paint and enjoyed a 41-30 rebounding edge.
