Elon shot a season-high 50 percent from the field off 15-of-29 attempts and outscored the Catamounts 34-20 in the paint. The game marked Ford’s fifth straight in double figures and the fourth double-double of the season for Evans who finished with 10 boards.

NC State enters the game against Elon with a 5-4 record and scoring 76.1 points per game. Junior forward Kody Burke is the team’s leading scorer (15.7 ppg) and rebounder (8.2 rpg) and ranks fifth and eighth in the ACC in those categories, respectively. The Wolfpack opened the season with an 85-45 win against another SoCon program in Wofford. NCSU is led by fourth-year head coach Kellie Harper who spent five seasons coaching Western Carolina prior to her time with the Wolfpack.
