  1. Sorry Andy; Score was Reidsville 51 Dudley 44. Reidsville scored five 3s in second half and overcame Dudley by scoring 20 and holding Dudley to 3 points in final quarter.

  2. Dudley Girls had a 41 to 31 lead to start the 4th quarter and all of a sudden they just started missing easy inside shots and lay ups. Reidsville girls started hitting shots and a few threes. After Reidsville cut into that lead and the score was 43-40 Dudley with 4 mins left, Reidsville girls, the Coach and The Fans from Reidsville got pumped up and confident they could fully come back. Dudley, was just flat and emotionless during this quarter. Shocking seeing Dudley lose this game after beating RJ Reynolds & Bishop McGinnis. West Forsyth next…better get over it and shake it off. Reidsville girls will be force in 2 A this season….Match up in Siler City vs. Jordan Matthews will be a great game later in Jan. 13

  3. Thanks for the compliment Perry. Yes, Reidsville will be a force in 2A. They have worked really really hard to build the program and it is a great bunch of girls. Looking forward to Jordan Matthews. It is a shame both teams are so good and in the same conference. JM only beat Reidsville by 1 point at the last meeting last year(3rd round of State) so maybe Reidsville can turn things around this year. This Dudley game was definitely a confidence booster as Dudley has a great team. Love reading the posts since I am from Georgia.

  4. Also, I think the Reidsville-Jordan Matthews matchup is January 18th. Thanks, Annice

  5. Yes, I would like to see that matchup with Reidsville & Jordan Matthews. I saw Jordan in the Championship Game this past March in Raleigh…Blue Collar team; However, I feel the Rams can & will take them this year. Could be a special season for the Lady Rams. Best of Luck to them as they move forward.

  6. Yes Page Pirate, Reidsvill is 2A same as Jordan Matthews. That is why they always eliminate each other at some point. I think they have several potential D1 players but some are not seniors. One senior has already signed with UNC Pembroke. Another senior has had several offers but not D1. The little point guard is awesome at 5 ft 2. I certainly hope she gets offers too. She has great potential and is probably the hardest worker anyone could ask for. All in all, the team has depth. I think the bench is almost as good as the starters. They were also missing a senior last night when they played Dudley and she was replaced with a sophomore. Coach cleared the bench last night against Dudley too so that indicates depth. I travel up there from Georgia to watch games about every two weeks. Love it. Coach has worked really hard to build the team and has great parent support.

  7. Perry, I will make the round trip (800 miles) to see any match up with Jordan Matthews. Saw all four last year then came back and watched the next game after JM beat them out at State. Thanks for the well wishes for their success this year. I would love to be sitting in the stands for the finals.

  8. Reidsville Ram girls (5-0) and led by coach Casey Elrod….

Good to see the Rams getting some positive pub…

  9. Andy; Guess you figured out why I know so much about them and I live 400 miles away. I get a play-by-play report from the coach after every game (those that I can not attend)….he calls me “Mom”. Thanks so much for all the positive comments.

  10. You deserve to proud and congratulations on a great start to the Reidsville Lady Rams’ season…
