Cody Ezzell(Southeast Guilford HS) to sign Letter of Intent to attend Lenior-Rhyne University for baseball today

Cody Ezzell is a 5′ 11″ 180 lb senior shortstop and pitcher— Cody lettered in football as a QB and gave his attention to baseball after 2 years. He is a 3 year letterman in wrestling at Southeast.

For 2012 Cody Hit .433 and had 13 RBI’s with a slugging percentage of .537. Cody played 126 innings with only 2 errors and a 943 Fielding percentage.

In American Legion baseball this fall Cody was undefeated on the pitching mound as a starter with 7 wins and 3 saves with a ERA of .09 .Cody had 1 grand Slam and 3 HR’s in Legion ball this fall.

Cody Ezzell is the 14th player from SE Guilford to have the opportunity to play college baseball under Head Coach Dave Beasley’s four year tenure at Southeast. Congratulations to Cody Ezzell ! All the Falcons support you and know that Lenior Rhyne University is getting a great player and student.
