New Garden Friends School to host Friends Showcase Tournament

New Garden Friends School to host Quaker basketball tournament.

New Garden Friends School will host our first Friends Showcase Tournament this year in the new Arts and Athletic Center. NGFS has invited other Quaker schools from North Carolina and the Philadelphia area for a basketball showcase tournament on December 21 and December 22 at our Page-Frederiksen Campus.

12/21 2:30 pm NGFS (Girls) vs. Abington Friends School

12/21 5:30 pm Carolina Friends School (Girls) vs. Friends Central School
12/21 7:00 pm Carolina Friends School (Boys) vs. Friends Central School

12/22 3:00 pm Community Baptist (Girls) vs. Abington Friends School
12/22 4:30 pm Carolina Friends School (Boys) vs. Abington Friends School
12/22 6:00 pm NGFS (Girls) vs. Friends Central School
12/22 7:30 pm NGFS (Boys) vs. Friends Central School

In addition, the NGFS basketball teams have been afforded the very special opportunity this year to take on a traveling Australian team, Brisbane Boomerangs, on December 24. The girls’ team will play at 11 and the boys’ game begins at 12:30.
