The North Carolina Consumer Council has issued an ALERT about the Apex JD2.2 Flat Bench, which is sold in many stores.
This is a standard bench, often used for weight lifting exercises. It has a maximum weight rating of 300 pounds; but there are reports that the legs will collapse due to bad welds in the metal.
As many athletes often have personal weight training training equipment, we feel obligated to post this alert.
