GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford outscored Northern Guilford by 11 points in the 2nd quarter to secure a 30 -17 halftime lead. The Vikings then held on in the late stages of the game despite another furious comeback by the Nighthawks for the 56 – 55 victory.
–Cody Hylton and Nick Powell led Northwest with 12 and 10 points respectively. Hampton Billips did a wonderful job for the Vikings as he pulled down a team high 11 rebounds.
–The Vikings got huge contributions from Kevin Parrish, Josh Beitz, and Kris Keefer as they all scored 8 points each to aid the Vikings in a true “TEAM” win.
–TJ Logan provided the Nighthawks with a huge spark off the bench in his first game of the season. Logan finished with 17 points and S. Mildreth chipped in with 14 points for Northern.
