  1. Good hard fought game by Page. But I never understood why GDS is even in the tournament. They have kids that have reclassed and etc. They should play in a tournament with other private schools. But for Page to be so young and inexperience they played a good game. Just don’t think GDS should be in the tournament playing against public school with kids on their team that should have graduate last year or etc. But Good game.

  2. GDS should win the L4 every year with the advantages they have. They come into the tournament having played 18 games which puts them in mid-season form while the public schools are still working in their football players. If public school had 18 games in already they could only play three more games after the little 4. The fifth year player thing is huge. Imagine Page with their seniors from last year back, several of who are playing college ball right now. Even a moron can see it is a giant advantage. GDS has a good coaching staff but a lot of people would do the same thing given the advantages they have. There are probably five teams in the L4 who would have been 18-0 coming in with the crap schedule GDS played. Six fifth year players beat two freshmen, two sophomores, and a junior in the L4. GDS should never lose when they play by rules that give them that advantage.

  3. Did anyone notice the foul count in the first half? As agressive as GDS is no way is the foul count margin that great against Page. Poorly officiated game. GDS had a major mismatch at pg and didn’t post up the smaller page pg. Page head coach needs to quit yelling so much. Reggie Dillard is a very well rounded player. Once Graves adds some muscle to his game he will be unstoppable. Well played game.

  4. Private schools and public schools in North Carolina all have the same age rules that you both can’t turn 19 before the same date.

Football has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage is you have some tough kids that are phenomenal athletes such as Carter Stanley and Justin Neal. The disadvantage is you may not have some of your players join the team until a little later in the season than Nov 1. It definitely has its pros and cons but balance each other out.

Graves was fantastic. Dillard was sensational.

GDS was very well coached and made some nice adjustments during the game.

    Good atmosphere at the game.
