Great game last night. Ledford led at halftime and the end of the third but SE pulled away in the 4th.
This is how championship games should be played and not what fans saw at TIMCO.
I did not see any of the TIMCO or the Sheetz tournaments but the quality of basketball at the girls level at Newbbridge Tournament at Ledford was fantastic. The folks in the Davidson County area really support their teams by coming to the games. The Ledford gym was nearly full at every game. Championship night the gym was packed for the girls and the boys game. The SEG girls were tested by a very good Ledford team. They missed several easy shots early which kept them from getting the lead. It was a great tournament and congrats to Kara Shutt, Kenya Hailey and Kayla Upshaw for making the All-Tournament team and to the rest of the team and coaches.
