GAME NOTES:
--Northwest Guilford was able to grind out another tough win versus Parkland to secure a 61-51 victory over the Mustangs in a hard fought Piedmont-Triad 4-A Conference game.
--Nick Powell led Northwest with 22 points, while Cody Hylton and Colson Everett chipped in with 10 and 9 points respectively for the Vikings.
--Kevin Parrish handed out 8 assists for the Vikings and Josh Beitz led the team with 6 rebounds.
--J. Davis led the Mustangs’ effort with 11 points and D. Middleton contributed another 10 points off the bench for Parkland.

  1. Once again NW manages to win in the ugliest of ways. The starting 5 are as good as any but aren’t allowed to stay on the court together for very long. First half of season they were playing well together and putting up lots of points. Once the coach starts the crazy substitutions things change for the worse. Experienced proven seniors are on the bench during critical times watching multiple turnovers and leads slip away. Parkland tied the game and NW was very lucky to have pulled it out. It is frustrating to watch such baffoonery!

  2. NW has to be the toughest place to coach. You win the game, your record is 13-4 and people still complain. Is 13-4 at NW good enough?
