Men’s Basketball (8-7, 1-2)
Elon at Western Carolina, Monday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m., Cullowhee, N.C.
Elon vs. Furman, Thursday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m., Elon, N.C.
Elon vs. Wofford, Saturday, Jan. 19, at 7 p.m., Elon, N.C.
• Elon plays its second straight road game on Monday night at Western Carolina when the Phoenix takes on the Catamounts at 7 p.m.
• Ryley Beaumont scored a career-high 26 points at Appalachian State on Saturday, knocking down 11-of-13 from the field versus the Mountaineers. Beaumont also hauled down nine boards.
• Jack Isenbarger continues to inch closer to 1,000 career points, as he now sits at 957 points.

Men’s Tennis
Elon at #5 Duke, Saturday, Jan. 19, at 12 p.m., Durham, N.C.
• Elon opens its spring slate on Saturday, Jan. 19, against fifth-ranked Duke in Durham, N.C.
• Cameron Silverman (No. 21) and Stefan Fortmann (No. 117) enter the season with national singles rankings, while ranking No. 22 as a doubles team. They are the only nationally ranked players in the Southern Conference. It marks the first time in Elon men’s tennis history the program has had two players nationally ranked at the same time.

Track and Field
Elon at Wake Forest Invitational, Saturday, Jan. 19, Winston-Salem, N.C.
• The Phoenix will compete in its second meet of the 2012-13 indoor campaign at the Wake Forest Invitational after opening the year at the Liberty Kickoff on Dec. 1.
• Elon had a couple of performers win individual titles at the Liberty Kickoff, while also establishing new school-records in those events. Sophomore Louise Prevoteau captured the women’s pentathlon title with a school-record 3,572 points, while freshman Megan Kirschling set a new program mark in the high jump with a height of 5’8″ in her first collegiate meet.
• Junior Charlise Morgan was the runner-up in the shot put at Liberty with a new personal-best throw of 43’03.25″, second-best all-time at Elon. Freshman Sydney Griffin and Jennifer Esposito also broke into the program record books with their performance in the 60-meter hurdles. Griffin ran a time of 8.77, while Esposito clocked in at 9.04, the second and third fastest times respectively on the all-time performance list.

Women’s Basketball (7-7, 4-1)
Elon vs. UNCG, Monday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m., Alumni Gym
Elon vs. Furman, Friday, Jan. 18, at 7 p.m., Alumni Gym
Elon at College of Charleston, Sunday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m., Charleston, S.C.
• Elon is looking to keep its three-game winning streak alive when it hosts UNCG on Monday in Alumni Gym. On Friday, the maroon and gold will take on Furman at home before a two-game road swing.
• Kelsey Evans was named the SoCon’s Student-Athlete of the Week last week after averaging 15.5 points and 15 rebounds in wins over Samford and Chattanooga. In the victory against Chattanooga, the senior scored 19 points and posted a new career high of 21 boards, as well as tying her career high of five blocks. The Raleigh, N.C., native currently holds a 3.54 GPA in her major of exercise science.
• The Phoenix is looking to ease the sting of a two-point loss in CofC in December when it travels to Charleston, S.C., for the rubber match against the Cougars on Sunday.

Women’s Tennis
Elon at Wake Forest Winter Classic, Jan. 19-21, Winston-Salem, N.C.
• Elon opens its spring slate in Winston-Salem this weekend for the Wake Forest Winter Classic.
• Phoenix senior Briana Berne enters the season ranked 119th in the country in singles.
