Men’s Basketball (11-7, 4-2)
Elon vs. Chattanooga, Thursday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m., Alumni Gym
Elon at The Citadel, Saturday, Jan. 26, at 2:05 p.m., Charleston, S.C.

• Elon won its third straight game with a 68-61 win over Wofford on Saturday night in front of a sellout crowd in Alumni Gym. The Phoenix went on a 13-3 run over the final 4:31 of the game to record the win.
• Lucas Troutman averaged 17 points per game in two wins last week over Furman and Wofford.
• Jack Isenbarger enters Thursday’s game versus Chattanooga on the verge of reaching 1,000 career points, as he currently sits with 995 career points. Only 34 players in Elon’s 104-year history have reached the 1,000-point milestone.

Track and Field
Elon at Penn State National, Friday – Saturday, Jan. 25-26, State College Pa.

• The Elon women’s track and field squad took first overall at the Wake Forest Invitational last weekend, scoring 92 points in its first meet of the 2013 calendar year.
• Charlise Morgan broke the school-record in both the shot put and the weight throw at Wake Forest. Morgan had a throw of 47’4.25″ (14.43-meters) in the shot put and broke her own record in the weight throw with a toss of 51’11.75″ (15.84-meters).
• Freshman Megan Kirschling took home the individual title in the high jump after tying her own school-record with a cleared height of 5’8″ for the second time this season. Hayley Laird was the runner-up with a height of 5’6″.
• The Phoenix distance runners had an impressive showing last weekend in their first indoor competition of the year. Tereza Novotna ran the second fastest time in school history in the one-mile run with a time of 5:01 and finished third overall in the race. Emily Tryon and Haylee Dawe finished in the two and three positions of the 3,000-meter run with times of 10:21.27 and 10:22.72, respectively.

Women’s Basketball (10-7, 7-1)
Elon at Davidson, Saturday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m., Davidson, N.C.

• Elon extended its winning streak to six after wins over Furman, 79-69, and College of Charleston, 63-56, and improved to 7-1 in conference play.
• Ali Ford averaged 17 points for the Phoenix last week, shooting 50 percent from the field and going a perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line. The senior also averaged six assists a game, while moving into the SoCon’s top-10 all-time scoring list. She is seven triples shy of breaking the conference’s all-time record.
• Kelsey Evans tied Elon’s all-time blocked shots record on Sunday with her 197th career block.

Women’s Tennis
Elon at Wake Forest Winter Classic, Monday, Jan. 21, at 9 a.m., Winston-Salem, N.C.

• Following the conclusion of the three-day Wake Forest Winter Classic on Monday, Elon has three matches this week slated against North Carolina, Richmond and Wake Forest.
• Elon has had several impressive performances thus far at the Wake Forest Winter Classic, as the doubles duo of Jordan Johnston and Frida Jansaker enters Monday’s action with a 2-0 record.
• The Phoenix’s home opener at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center is slated for Feb. 9.
