GC Women’s Tennis Selected Seventh in USA South Preseason Poll

The Greensboro College women’s tennis team earned the seventh spot in the USA South preseason coaches poll. The Pride will enter the year with first year head coach Andy Smith at the helm of the program.

Greensboro went 6-10 overall a year ago but recorded a 5-4 mark in conference play. The Pride bring back two top returners from last years squad in Meredith Kelly and Elizabeth Adair.

Kelly brings a team leading seven singles wins and eight doubles wins back to the court, while Adair competed in seven singles matches and three doubles matches last year for Greensboro.

The Pride will open the spring season on February 23 at Lynchburg.
