Greensboro Day School Boys Basketball still at #9 in the Nation in MaxPreps.com Top Ten Academies Poll

from Jim Stout and www.maxpreps.com:

9. (9) Greensboro Day (N.C.), 29-0
The Bengals just keep winning. The latest was a big one, beating High Point Christian 61-58 on Saturday. Plenty of roadblocks still stand in the way of an undefeated regular season for Greensboro Day, however.

  1. Congrats again to GDS boys..They are the best in the State in my opinion..The players, coaches and fans…What a place to send your student/athlete…Also heard some scouts finally coming out this week to se Montrell Goldston…That kid can play…Shut down all the “Hyped” players over at HP Christian and WES…Bengals and Christ School clash on FRI, and gets tougher next week…Great job boys…

  2. You have to love it when you see Montrell Goldston hitting the floor on defense and going for that loose ball…

You also have to love it when you see him the floor, go for the loose ball and create the over-and-back call as he did at a crucial point in the game on Saturday…

  3. Andy, you are correct, he played another great defensive game against HP Christian, and basically shut down Diante…His scoring avg is down because he plays so hard on defense, all his energy is spent, plus he gets others involved…Very explosive player that is a late bloomer, who will make an impact at D1…

  4. Diante scored four points above his average against GDS. Basketball Fan is misinformed about the “shut down Diante.” More GDS propoganda.

  5. Basketball Fan,
Diante scored four points above his average against GDS. Get you facts straight before you say they “basically shut down Diante”. Quit spewing GDS propoganda.
