GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford forced a 6-5 1st quarter with the Cowboys from Southwest holding the narrow one point lead. Southwest then came out blazing from the field in the 2nd quarter to jump out to a 30-19 lead over Northwest at the half. The Cowboys then out played the Vikings badly in the 2nd half converting turnovers to easy buckets in route to an 80-44 victory in a matchup of the 1st and 2nd place teams of the Piedmont-Triad Conference.
–Hampton Billips scored 17 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for the Vikings.
–T. Leach led the Cowboys with 17 points, while KJ Langley added 15 points.
