The inside word on Westchester Country Day baseball for 2013….
Westchester Country Day returns all starting position players from last year’s State Championship team (only graduated 1 starting pitcher). Eight of 12 players on the varsity are being recruited by colleges and they only have 4 seniors (3 of those are starters). One senior (Marquel Johnson, CF) has already signed with Appalachian State but has the possibility of being drafted. Westchester will be playing a tough non-conference schedule against numerous 4A public schools along with Wesleyan and High Point Christian. Expect to see the Wildcats rack up another State Championship this year.

(Press Release)*****Sounds like WCD is looking at another top season in 2013….*****
+++++Pretty sure WCD and Caldwell got together a few times last year and I think I saw one of those games, over on Horsepen Creek Road.+++++
@@@@@Dan Bozarth does a good job over at Caldwell, but I think he lost a lot of Eagles off of last year’s club.@@@@@
