College Basketball News – Guilford Set for ODAC Basketball Tournaments

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Guilford College’s men’s and women’s basketball teams compete in the 2013 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Basketball Tournaments starting Tuesday, Feb. 19 when the Quakers’ men host Emory & Henry College in the Ragan-Brown Field House at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets cost $5 for adults and children under 12 are admitted free. Fans who can’t attend in person are invited to follow the action on-line with Guilford’s free video (http://quakers.nmtvsports.com/) and in-game scoring (http://www.guilfordquakers.com/multimedia/index) services.

The winner of Tuesday’s men’s game advances to the quarterfinals Feb. 22 against Randolph-Macon College at the Salem (Va.) Civic Center at 8:00 p.m.

Guilford earned the second seed in the women’s tournament, plus an opening-round bye. The Quakers are the defending ODAC Tournament champions and begin defense of their title Thursday, Feb. 21 at 6:00 p.m. in the quarterfinals versus either Roanoke College or Randolph-Macon College in the Salem (Va. ) Civic Center.
