GAME NOTES:
–High Point Central was able to pull out a 48-46 victory in the final minute over Northwest Guilford in a Piedmont-Triad 4-A Tournament 1st Round game. Although the Viking controlled the majority of the game, High Point Central forced Northwest into a number of costly turnovers in the 2nd half.
–Nick Powell led Northwest with 14 points and Cody Hylton chipped in 14 points for the Vikings.
–M. Seals and K. Green led the Bison’s effort with 17 and 12 points respectively.
–High Point Central will move on to the Semifinals of the Conference Tournament played at Southwest Guilford on Thursday versus the winner of the East Forsyth/Parkland game.
–The Vikings will look forward to a 4th straight berth in the state playoffs next Monday as they enter the post season at 17-8 overall record and a tie for 2nd place in the Piedmont-Triad 4-A Conference standings.

  1. You guys lost due to poor coaching and being unprepared. You beat us bad a few weeks ago but chose not to follow the same game plan. The coaches didnt see us as a threat.
