The Greensboro baseball team (7-4, 3-4 USA South) defeated #8 nationally ranked Christopher Newport (8-2-1, 6-1 USA South) 2-1 on Sunday night. The Pride rode the arm of John Atkins, who threw seven strong innings before handing it over to the bullpen to finish out the game.
