HIGH POINT- Reagan hangs on over top seed Southwest Guilford, sinking their final free throws to seal the deal.

The 59-63 loss for the Cowboys is their first of the season, and eliminates them from the state playoffs.

Senior Guard Evan Peatross led the Raiders in scoring with 14 points, including the final two free throws that put the game out of reach.

Terrell Leach was held to just 4 points in the first half, but added 16 in the second to lead all scorers with 20 points.

With three lead changes in the final two minutes of the game, a timeout sparked Reagan High School to 4 straight points and the lead until the final buzzer.

Matt Edwards and Jacob Hartle finished with 10 and 11 points respectively for Reagan High. Both players contributed significantly down the stretch.

Reagan moves on to face the winner of the Ardrey Kell vs Dudley game this Friday.
