Greensboro, NC: Today the Carolina Dynamo announced a significant and positive move for youth players in North Carolina, The Carolina Dynamo (PDL Franchise) and Carolina Premier Soccer (CPS – an affiliate of Global Premier Soccer) are excited to announce a partnership that has been established to enhance the player development opportunities for players in Carolina and mutually benefit the programs and goals of both organizations.

Global Premier Soccer (GPS) was founded in 2001 with a mission to establish a new and unique player development model in the US.

Global Premier Soccer owns and operates soccer properties in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Florida, Rhode Island, Vermont, Carolina and New Jersey and is now one of the largest soccer organizations in the United States providing player development programming to over 100,000 players.

The mission of Global Premier Soccer is to be a leader in the development and growth of soccer across North America and beyond. We will establish an identity of excellence as we pursue our pathway to success on and off the field, with our primary focus being the development of players and people.

Dynamo Staff will work alongside CPS to further the club as the leading organization in the territory. The Dynamo and CPS will immediately focus on developing the young soccer player’s passion for the game, while supplementing their soccer education.

“We were first attracted to a partnership with CPS as we saw the impact that Global Premier Soccer has had in Massachusetts, Maine, New York, Vermont, New Jersey and New Hampshire,” said The Dynamo General Manager Scott Zapko, “The relationship with CPS will add quality coaches to our staff, strengthen our club administration and provide a greater variety of programs for the young player throughout the whole state and region”.

Commencing in June 2013, CPS will bring the CPS School of Excellence program to North Carolina under the Moniker of The CPS Dynamo. The program was designed to supplement, as opposed to replacing, recreational soccer programs. “The Carolina Dynamo already has a comprehensive camp program geared towards players who want to improve their play in a fun and developmental environment. Camps will be run by CPS and Dynamo staff, and will feature a unique blend of skill development, player challenges and game play. The curriculums are tailor made for the age of the child we are working with” said Carolina Premier Soccer Technical Director Luke Krawczyk.

Camp dates and locations will be announced in the coming weeks.
