  1. Great team victory for the young falcons over a very good E. Forsyth squad. Devin Sweet went three innings and picked up the win. Ezzell, Green, Canada and Banda pitched down the stretch to preserve the win for Sweet. Senior Tyrone Woolard was injured sliding into second and had to leave the park, we hope he can rejoin the team soon.

  2. Northern 8 Southwest 4

Hunter Morgan pitched 5 innings for the win and Austin Coltrane finished. Too cold for baseball!!!

  3. Tyrone Woolard broke his jaw in two different places last night. He has surgery later today. Hopefully he has a quick recover and returns fast. We are thinking about you Tyrone.

  4. Tyrone did break his jaw in two different places last night during the game. He undergoes surgery later today. Hopefully he has quick recovery and gets back out their with his team. We are thinking about you Tyrone.

  5. Tyrone Woolard is s good kid and a good Falcon….

We wish him a speedy recovery….

  6. ‘Game On’ and name on for Austen Peeples and a good game for Austen last night and you might say, ‘Game On’/Name On and Read On with GreensboroSports.com this season….

  7. Sorry to hear about the injury. Get well soon “T”rone!!

    Your friends at Whirlieville

  8. FORSYTH COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL PUSHED THERE WINNING STREAK TO 3 FRIDAY AFTERNOON. NICK OLSON PITCHED 4.2 AND STURCK OUT 10 BATTERS. JAMES WILLIAMS, WILLIAM SCHIPKE, AND CHARLIE SPONG LED THE ATTACK FOR FORSYTH. THEY ARE COACHED BY GUILFORD COUNTY’S JUSTIN SMITH

  9. Hats off to Trinty lefty picther. Started and picthed a great game, holding off a HPC 4A team. Why would the coaches in 30 degree weather take a picther 80 picthes or more pitches in Feburay? I just don’t understand it, the triples came after he saw the top of the order 4 times, really? Feb; he’s 80 or more picthes in and see’s the top of the order 4 times, he is tired and has lost all velocity! The kid goes to the dugout with his head hung.
You picthed a great game, NOT your fault. Shame on the coaches for riding him that long against a 4A team in Feb when it’s 30 degrees outside. Hold your head high you have good stuff Lefty! Shame on these coaches who won’t go to the relievers and closers, you have to trust your pen. Stop trying to ride these kids the whole game.
