Video Contest for NCHSAA Member Schools – “Distracted Driving”

CHARLOTTE – The AAA Carolinas Foundation for Traffic Safety has announced its third annual Distracted Driving Video Contest.

North Carolina high school students have an opportunity to win a new iPad or iPad Mini by submitting an original video that exhibits the dangers of distracted driving. The contest is underway and runs through April 30 and is part of AAA Carolinas’ sponsorship of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association.

Students can create and submit a video, running one minute or less, demonstrating the dangers of distracted driving. Entries must be uploaded to YouTube and submitted to www.facebook.com/aaacarolinas by April 30.

A panel of AAA judges will choose the top two videos. The video with the most votes will receive a new iPad and the runner up will receive an iPad Mini.
“We hope that students at many of our North Carolina High School Athletic Association member schools would take advantage of this wonderful opportunity,” said NCHSAA commissioner Davis Whitfield. “AAA is a valued partner and truly is concerned about the health and well-being of our students.”
