GREENSBORO, N.C. – Bridgewater College swept all three doubles matches in its 7-2 victory over Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC)-foe Guilford College Saturday at the McMichael Centennial Class Courts.
Guilford (1-4, 0-4 ODAC) claimed victories at fourth and sixth singles. Kim Kleimeier defeated her fourth singles opponent Jessie Mitchell 1-6, 7-5, 10-2 in the tiebreak and Allison Hewitt bested Bridgewater’s Rita Murphy, 6-4, 6-1.
Bridgewater (3-0, 1-0 ODAC)’s Katie Gordon, Brittany Wilson, Olivia Stone and Miranda Donovan each won both of their matches.
The Quakers next play home against Averett University Monday Mar. 11 at 3:00 p.m. at the McMichael Centennial Class Courts.
