Ragsdale was up 3 – 1 in bottom of 7th after picking up a solo run in the first and two in the fourth. Zach Myers got a 2 out infield single to put runners on 1st and 2nd. Robbie Harrison then delivered a double to right center to drive in both runners and tie the score. Harrison promptly stole third on a close play and Mason Striplin drove in the winning run with a solid base hit. Matt Horkey went the distance for the Tigers and suffered the loss. Striplin pitched seven for Glenn and gave himself the win with the clutch two out RBI single.

Next up for Ragsdale is a Piedmont Triad Conference game at home on Tuesday against High Point Central with a 7:00 PM start. Glenn will be at home on Tuesday to face East Forsyth at 7:00 PM

  1. Exciting game with the Bobcats stealing one. The bottom of the lineup came through in the 7th against Horkey with Harrison’s clutch 2 out double. I thought Horkey went too long as he look spent after 5 innings especially on a cold night. Thought it was interesting they pitched to Striplin who delivered the game winning hit with 2 bases open.
    Ragsdale was much much stronger defensively. I was really impressed with their middle infielders as they made some very nice plays.
