  1. Has the makings for a great tournament…

Final Four of SEG, WG, WA and EA would really shake up the tree…

Those four will draw some fans…..

WA and SEG might just be the favorites to meet in the finals and I would be interested in what others think about that???

WA vs. SEG in the final on Saturday at the GMS(Graham Middle School)???

Eastern Alamance might have a Littel bit to say about this, but ‘here we go’…….

  2. WG has Page the day before the tourney starts. That can make pitching quite challenging for the duration of the tourney.

  3. This will be a very strong tournament. Western Alamance and Southeast Guilford are very good teams. Zack Latell(right handed pitcher) from Eastern Alamance is a MLB prospect.

  4. Pitching will be interesting for this tournament. EA and WA played earlier with Littell giving up just two hits and only one ball out of the infield, a two run double to give WA a 2-0 victory.

The two teams play each other again in two weeks, so if they play in the second round coaches will have a decision on whether to throw one of your top two or three pitchers, or hold them out. That assumes both make it past the first round. EA has not hit the ball at all this year so they could have trouble with Chatham Central, and Graham has been known to pull a few upsets over the last several years.

SE Guilford and WG meanwhile will have no problems with their opening games. The Thursday games will be ugly!
