Game Report on Eastern Guilford-Western Alamance baseball from Tuesday night

Eastern travels to Western Alamance in a Mid State 3A conference game and come away with an 11-3 victory. Eastern Guilford’s Caleb Robinson would matchup with Western’s Michael Olenoski. Eastern would strike first in the top of the 1st inning for 2 runs on a 2 out double from Luke Robinson driving in his brother Caleb Robinson. The second run was on an error that scored Luke Robinson. Western Alamance struck back for a run in the bottom of the inning on a 2 out solo home run from Blake Deatherage. Eastern Guilford would add another run in the 4th inning on when Austin Koonce would score on a ground ball by Andrew Robinson. Nothing happening in the 5th inning. The Wildcats would then strike for 4 runs in the 6th inning. Ryan Hackett & Andrew Robinson would single and the Caleb Robinson would drive in a run with a single and then Marque Johnson would deliver the big blow on a 3 run home run. Western would add another run in the bottom half on 2 errors and a single. Eastern would then put up 4 more runs in the top of the 7th on 4 more hits. Ben Horne & Ryan Hackett would have back to back singles then a walk to Andrew Robinson and another RBI single from Caleb Robinson. An error would plate another run, then first baseman Jordan Rohrer would drive in the final 2 runs on a single. Western would score 1 more run on a couple of errors and a single.
