Game Report on Eastern Guilford-Northeast Guilford tonight at Southern Guilford in Easter Tournament

Round Two of Eastern Guilford & Northeast Guilford in the Southern Guilford Easter Tournament. Caelan Canady would get the start for Northeast and Andrew Robinson would take the ball for the Wildcats.

Robinson would start out slow and give up 2 runs in the top of the first on an error to right and a double to left center off the bat of Tyler Mericka. That would be the only runs Northeast would get. Eastern would score one in the bottom half when Andrew Robinson would get hit by a pitch and move to second on a ground out. Luke Robinson would double to right center to drive in the run. Eastern would strike again in the second inning on a ground rule double off the bat of Ben Horne then Austin Koonce would drive him home on a single. Eastern would then break it open in the 4th inning when Austin Koonce would single and Marque Johnson would take one for a ride to center field for a 2 run home run. Then Ryan Hackett would double to left and Caleb Robinson would single him home to give Eastern a 5-2 lead. Andrew Robinson would go 4 innings and leave with a that 5-2 lead then Austin Koonce would come in and slam the door shut.
