Ragsdale starter Nick Corey got his first start of the season and couldn’t get out of the first inning as Williams got 6 hits in the inning and scored 5 runs, 4 of them earned. Ben Horkey came on in relief and after giving up two of the hits in the first inning, went the next 5 with out giving up another run, but the damage had been done. Ragsdale scored 2 runs in the third inning as Will Redding, Ben Fischer and Cesar Trejo got base hits, but the Tigers only had one other hit and were shut out for the rest of the game.

Next up for Ragsdale is a non-conference game at Southeast Guilford on Friday at 7:00 PM. Williams will be at home on Friday for a Mid-State conference game with a 7:00 PM start.
