  1. Northeast – 3
    Southern Guilford – 0

Good game between two teams fighting for conference/playoff seeding. SG may be one of the most improved teams in the area this year.

  2. Friend of the game…I agree. SG has a proud and strong history in baseball. Just like any/most/all schools…everyone has “down years”. Better put, there are years where things just dont go your way and the level of play just is not as successful in the win/loss column. Coach Carter is a good man. A good person. A good coach. He does things right. And tbh…he has been a staple of the program for quite a long time. SG is a county school…who at times over the years has gotten overlooked so to speak, in many sports. I have only caught a few games this season, but the baseball team has definitly made some tremendous strides. But still has work to do…as I’m sure Coach Carter would be the first to say. Baseball is the greatest game around…my opinion. it teaches life. Coach Carter…keep up the good work. Players…work harder. Its what you are supposed to do. Your season is still rolling. Hit the next gear. ITS ALL ABOUT THE TEAM. Good luck in the confernece tournament…and playoffs.
