Dynamo to Host Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Match First Round Match

Today US Soccer announced the 1st Round pairings for the 100th edition of
the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. Chattanooga FC (NPSL) will come to
Greensboro to face the Dynamo on Tuesday, May 14th. Kick-off is 7:00 PM
at Macpherson Stadium.

The Dynamo qualified for the 2013 Open Cup by finishing as the 2012 South
Atlantic Division Champions of the Premier Development League (PDL). The
Dynamo Open the 2013 season at home on Saturday May 11th vs. the Virginia
Beach Piranhas

The Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup is the oldest ongoing soccer tournament in
the United States, and is open to all U.S. Soccer Federation affiliated
teams, from amateur adult clubs to Major League Soccer teams. The
Carolina Dynamo will be one of 68 teams and one of just 16 PDL Teams
competing for the title in this year’s tournament.
